"The skinny shot" is semaglutide. Semaglutide is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity. It belongs to a class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Wash Your Hands

Thoroughly wash and dry your hands to minimize infection risk.

2. Prepare the Syringe

Remove the syringe cap without touching the needle.

3. Choose Injection Site

Inject into one of these subcutaneous areas:

-Abdomen (2 inches away from navel)

-Thigh (front of upper thigh)

4. Clean the Skin

-Use an alcohol swab to clean the area.

5. Inject the Medication

-Pinch the skin to lift the fatty tissue.

-Insert the needle at a 45° or 90° angle

-Slowly push the plunger all the way in.

-Wait 2–3 seconds before pulling out the needle.

• Injections can be stored either in the refrigerator (36°F to 46°F or 2°C to 8°C) or at room temperature (between 59ºF to 86ºF or 15ºC to 30ºC)
